- How are you an ally for youth?
- I work for Marion County Commission on Youth (MCCOY) and its Early Intervention and Prevention Initiative. I help many youth-serving nonprofits through my work as a freelance writer, editor and researcher. I volunteer for The Second Story helping kids explore creative writing. My first job in Indy was working for AYS, Inc, provider of after-school programs in four counties.

- Too much media influence. Not enough time with caring, listening adults and time spent in the natural environment.
